Terms & Conditions
Lone Star Family Services
Effective Date: June 20, 2026
Welcome to the website of Lone Star Family Services ("LSFS," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website at lonestarfamilyservices.com (the "Site") and the services we provide. By accessing the Site, contacting us, providing your information through any of our forms, or using our services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or our services.
1. About Our Services
Lone Star Family Services provides community-based supervised visitation and monitored exchange services in Williamson County, Texas, and surrounding areas. Our services are delivered in public community settings and are provided by trained monitors who act as neutral third parties. LSFS does not provide legal advice, custody recommendations, therapy, or counseling. Our monitors do not take sides between parties and do not advocate for any party in any legal proceeding.
Use of our services is also governed by the separate agreements, policies, and acknowledgments you sign as part of client onboarding. Where those signed documents and these Terms address the same subject, the signed client documents control for matters relating to your case and services.
2. Eligibility and Use of the Site
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Site or to engage our services. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when you contact us or submit any form, and to use the Site only for lawful purposes. You agree not to use the Site in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the Site or interfere with another party's use of it.
3. Text Messaging (SMS/MMS) Terms
By providing your mobile phone number to Lone Star Family Services — through our intake forms, scheduling process, or by otherwise giving it to us — you consent to receive text messages (SMS/MMS) from LSFS related to your service with us.
Types of messages. Messages are operational and conversational in nature and may include appointment and visit confirmations, scheduling and rescheduling, reminders, location and arrival instructions, document requests, and other communications related to your case and services. We do not send marketing or promotional text messages.
Message frequency. Message frequency varies based on your scheduled services and case activity.
Cost. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan. Lone Star Family Services does not charge a fee for the text messages themselves.
Opting out. You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from us. After you reply STOP, you will receive one confirmation message and we will not send you further text messages unless you opt back in. Opting out of text messages does not remove you from our services; we may still need to reach you by phone or email regarding your case.
Help. For help, reply HELP to any message, or contact us at 512.508.8629 or [email protected].
Carriers. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Privacy of your mobile information. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. Information you share with us is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available at [INSERT PRIVACY POLICY URL].
4. Fees and Payment
Fees for our services are set out in our current Fee Schedule, which is provided to you during onboarding and available on request. By engaging our services, you agree to pay all applicable fees as described in your signed client agreement and Fee Schedule. Fees are subject to change with notice as described in those documents.
5. Confidentiality and Mandatory Reporting
Communications and information exchanged in connection with supervised visitation and monitored exchange are not confidential in the way communications with a therapist or attorney would be. Information observed or disclosed during services may be documented and shared with the parties and, where applicable, the court.
All Lone Star Family Services monitors and staff are mandated reporters under Texas law. Under Texas Family Code Chapter 261, any person who has cause to believe that a child has been or may be abused or neglected has a duty to report it to the appropriate authorities. This is a personal, non-delegable legal duty that we will fulfill, and it cannot be waived by any party.
6. No Legal Advice or Representation
The Site and our services are for informational and supervision purposes only and do not constitute legal advice. Lone Star Family Services is a neutral provider. Nothing on the Site or in our communications should be relied upon as legal advice, and we are not a substitute for an attorney. You should consult a licensed Texas attorney regarding your legal rights and obligations.

All content on the Site, including text, graphics, logos, and the Lone Star Family Services name and branding, is owned by or licensed to LSFS and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any content on the Site without our prior written permission.
8. Disclaimers
The Site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
